Symptoms of PTSD

PTSD is the nervous system stuck in survival mode long after the danger has passed. It is not weakness. It is the body trying to protect you in the only way it learned.

When PTSD symptoms persist despite therapy and medication, ketamine and the Stellate Ganglion Block become medically appropriate options.

How Ketamine Works for PTSD

Trauma keeps the fear circuits of the brain on high alert. Ketamine acts on the glutamate system to help the brain form new connections, which can soften the intensity of traumatic memories and calm the overactive response that drives PTSD. Paired with integration coaching, many patients find they can finally process what happened without being overwhelmed by it.

For some patients, we also offer the Stellate Ganglion Block, a procedure that targets the sympathetic nervous system to help the brain and body reset. Every ketamine infusion is monitored by an anesthesia provider in a private suite.
